Step1:Warm up

    1.Sing the song “There’s  a Great  Wall  in China “

回答问题：Where’s Canada?  Where’s Mexico？ Where’s San   Francisco?  Where’s New York?

Step2 ：Presentation

1.    Lead -in

播放上一课的chant 部分的录音教师板书情同学们翻译 America America ,there are lots of things to see.

学生回答：美国美国，有许多东西可看。

讲解There  be  句型

出示一张唐人街的图片，问：Do you know where it is ?请学生回答问题。有些学生可能对唐人街有所了解，肯定他们的发言和大胆尝试。对学生说：“Daming 现在在美国表兄家里正在给家人发送email.让我们去看看。

2. Text  learning

1.    listen to the text and answer the questions:

  Does Daming  miss China?

2.      listen to the text again 要求学生勾画出文中的重要的信息？(重点单词、短语和句型 和疑难点）进行小组交流讨论，小组代表把找出的重难点卸载黑板上。注意解决。并 核对答案Does Daming  miss China?
3.     Listen to the text and follow the radio and find “There is There are at the seam time .

板书：There’s a Chinatown in New York?

There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants  there

There’s Chinese dancing .

引导学生发现“There  be”语法点。

4.     Listen to the text and follow the radio 注意语音语调。小组内分角色朗读课文。

Step3:Consolidation

    1.Finish the part 3 in group- work

运用句型： There is...There are  ...

     2.汇总各组学生说出的句子并适时鼓励并奖励

     3.学唱“There’s  a Great  Wall  in China “巩固本课重要知识点。

Step4:Summary

    总结本单元的句型和单词短语，并区分“There is There are ”的区别。并运用他们来描述见到的实物。

Step5： Homework

1.     给自己的朋友写一封email,描述自己的家。
2.     回去后并熟读课文。
